My father came to this community in 1916.  I grew up in the Grandview community.  All my 10 brothers and sisters and I attended Grandview school.  I have four sons, Brian, John, Kevin, and Justin whom attended Grandview-Hopkins school.  Brian started in 1973, the year Grandview and Hopkins consolidated into one school.

I started in 1984 to manage the cafeteria.  The lunch program has had many changes through the years.  I also drove a school bus full time for 13 years.
