My name is Deborah Davis. I am currently the 2nd grade teacher. I graduated from West Texas A&M University in 2002 with Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I taught 5th grade for 2 years before making the decision to stay home and raise my family. Even though I was not employed, I continued to work with kids through our church’s children’s program and the 4-H youth program. Once all of my children were in school, I began substituting at Grandview-Hopkins. I had the opportunity to substitute in almost every grade level as well as the office. I love the kids and staff at Grandview, so when I was offered a position, I couldn’t turn it down! Before 2nd grade, I was the P.E. and Fine Arts teacher. I grew up in the small town of Adrian, Texas. I graduated with only 14 students in my class, so small schools have a special place in my heart! I am married to Ryan, who is involved with agriculture, and I love to help out on the farm when I have the opportunity. We have three beautiful daughters- Kellie Mae, Katie, and Kenedie.
