My name is Kent Hargis and I am the new Superintendent and Principal at Grandview-Hopkins ISD. Grandview-Hopkins has a long standing tradition of excellence and I am excited to be a part of the Grandview-Hopkins family. I am blessed to be married to Robin, also a lifelong educator. We are the parents to two grown daughters and proud grandparent to two grandchildren. It has been my honor and privilege to be a public school educator for 33 years. My career began as a coach and biology teacher, and I have been an administrator for the last 23 years. I most recently served as Superintendent and Principal at Pringle-Morse CISD, a small pk-8 campus north of Stinnett. Prior to going to Pringle-Morse I was elementary principal at Spearman Elementary for eight years. My educational career has also included stops in Clarendon, Three Way, Dalhart, White Deer and Muleshoe school districts. I am a lifelong educator and truly believe in the value of public education and its value to the local community. I also believe it truly takes all of us working together to provide the best education for all our children, and I look forward to working with all of you to provide the very best education possible to all the students at Grandview-Hopkins.
